Join VERSANT, a leader in news, sports, and entertainment, as a Contract Recruiter. You will spearhead full-cycle recruitment for various divisions including technology and operations, news, and corporate functions. Collaborating closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders, you will develop strategic talent acquisition initiatives that align with our business objectives, while fostering a diverse and innovative workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process for tech & ops (engineering, product, data, and related roles), news (producers, reporters, data journalists), and corporate functions (finance, communications, marketing) from initial intake through to offer acceptance.
- Strategic Talent Consulting: Collaborate with business leaders and HR to comprehend team objectives and craft targeted, data-driven recruitment strategies.
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Create and implement sourcing strategies that leverage various channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, networking events, educational institutions) to attract top-tier talent. Build and nurture robust talent pipelines.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, offering market insights, interview coaching, and ongoing support throughout the hiring journey.
- Talent Acquisition Innovation: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing candidate experience, refining recruitment technologies, and improving inclusive hiring practices.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Utilize talent analytics and industry trends to inform recruitment strategies and drive hiring decisions.
- Brand & Culture Ambassadorship: Represent VERSANT at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings, promoting our employer brand and organizational culture.
