Join AND Digital as a Contract Service Designer and help us reshape services with your innovative designs. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to start as soon as possible for a 6-month project, with an expectation of 2-4 in-person days each month in Birmingham, Coventry, or London.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze current user journeys to identify pain points and propose enhancements that elevate the user experience.
- Create user-centric service designs that prioritize solving user problems effectively.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, involving them throughout the design process.
- Deconstruct complex services into manageable processes for better clarity and execution.
- Design services that address all user touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive experience.
What You Will Bring:
- A robust understanding of design thinking and human-centered design methodologies.
- The capability to design services that effectively cater to user needs.
- Insight into the user's experience while interacting with products or services.
- Proficiency in visualizing services alongside user touchpoints and insights.
- Experience in mapping current user journeys and developing new service blueprints across various channels.
- Knowledge or experience in the public sector context.
- Familiarity with GDS standards and experience working through multiple stages of the delivery lifecycle.
- An understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Experience designing within a policy framework.
- Experience in stakeholder mapping.
