Your Role
We are seeking a driven Corporate Development Analyst (Sourcing) to join our Corporate Development team. In this pivotal role, you will actively seek out, map, and assess high-potential acquisition and strategic partnership candidates that align with Hadrian's ambitious growth targets. You will focus on venture-backed opportunities and immerse yourself in the venture capital landscape. Your contributions will be crucial in identifying early-stage opportunities and enhancing our Corporate Development pipeline.
You will collaborate closely with senior executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, engaging with founders and executives to foster meaningful discussions and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research, sector mapping, and target identification to establish a high-quality pipeline of potential VC-backed acquisitions or strategic partnership candidates.
- Perform initial evaluations of potential targets, analyzing business models, strategic alignment, competitive landscapes, and preliminary financial assessments.
- Manage outreach initiatives, including crafting persuasive messaging for founders and executives to establish initial contact.
- Attend industry events, engage in face-to-face meetings with founders and operators, and proactively build and sustain long-term relationships within the venture capital ecosystem.
- Maintain an organized deal origination pipeline, tracking qualification criteria, status updates, and next steps.
- Collaborate with Corporate Development leadership to prioritize opportunities and prepare early-stage briefing materials for review.
