THE ROLE
As the Corporate Finance Director at Indie Campers, you will spearhead the department that underpins our business strategy and model. You will coordinate across various areas, including Fleet Financing, Bank & Investor Relations, M&A, Tax & Incentives, and Insurance.
This role is based in our Lisbon headquarters, reporting directly to the CFO, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders across Operations, Revenue, Product & Engineering, People, and the CEO Office.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Develop and manage the funding strategy for operational and investment plans.
- Oversee credit approvals, deal negotiations, contract terms, payment operations, and financial modeling for campervan financing.
- Identify and execute strategic M&A opportunities, leading the overall process.
- Formulate insurance strategies, ensuring alignment with pricing and coverage needs.
- Manage cash flow, credit lines, and investment rounds to ensure financial stability, especially within a seasonal business model.
- Coordinate treasury activities to align with corporate finance functions.
- Oversee grants, tax incentives, and transfer pricing strategies.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
- 3+ years in a leadership role within finance.
