About Our Team and the Role
Calendly is seeking a Corporate FP&A Manager to join our innovative Finance team. This pivotal role involves delivering timely, data-driven insights and strategic support to senior leaders across the organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A, you will oversee essential financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities. You will also manage our Workday Adaptive Planning tool, enhancing system functionality, automating processes, and improving forecast precision.
A Day in the Life as a Corporate FP&A Manager
In your role as a Corporate FP&A Manager, you will enhance financial, operational, and strategic decision-making across the organization. Your team will engage daily in financial planning and reporting, significantly influencing decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing Workday Adaptive Planning, serving as the central financial planning tool, overseeing system administration, process enhancements, and the creation of reports and forecasting models.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and commentary for executive leadership.
- Supporting and refining the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure scalability and consistency across departments.
- Collaborating closely with business unit teams and data analytics partners to analyze large datasets, evaluate business outcomes, and communicate variances and key trends.
- Owning and maintaining company-wide operating expense forecast assumptions and models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
