Join our dynamic Risk Management team as a Corporate Insurance and Risk Analyst, playing a pivotal role in steering our insurance and risk management strategies. Under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Risk Management and in collaboration with the Risk Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor across all business units of Avery Dennison. This is a unique opportunity to enhance company resilience while safeguarding our assets and maximizing our earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management of global insurance programs, including renewals, claims, and recovery processes for various coverage areas such as:
- Workers’ Compensation/Employer’s Liability
- General Liability
- Automobile Liability
- Umbrella and Excess Liability
- Product Recall/Withdrawal
- Property
- Stock Throughput
Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team to implement and evaluate the global property loss control plan and infrared program.
Provide essential support to business units for insurance-related tasks (e.g., issuing certificates of insurance, providing auto ID cards, and posting notices).
In partnership with the Sr. Director of Risk Management, oversee the department's annual operating plan, including generating monthly and quarterly variance reports and managing budget accruals.
Ensure timely payment of all program and departmental invoices while tracking expenditures against the annual operating plan.
Identify and propose opportunities for program improvements and potential cost-saving initiatives.
Assist the Risk Manager in administering the Risk Management Information System and the intranet portal.
Participate in the company’s semiannual Enterprise Risk Management processes.
Support the Sr. Director of Risk Management in the management of Avery Dennison’s captive insurance company.
Assist in due diligence and integration during acquisitions.
Perform other related tasks requiring discretion and confidentiality as assigned.
