Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively build and sustain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates, prioritizing Service Advisor and Certified Technician roles through methods such as cold calling, networking, and data mining.
- Persuasively engage passive job seekers to explore opportunities at Brakes Plus.
- Regularly review recruitment needs in collaboration with the People Operations Manager, confirming alignment with store objectives and staffing plans.
- Assess candidate qualifications through interviews, reference verifications, and a thorough comparison with job requirements.
- Coordinate management interviews by managing schedules effectively.
- Support the planning and execution of quarterly open house events and the annual career fair agenda.
- Evaluate candidates by discussing job specifications and qualifications with the management team.
- Assist in coordinating TAP, SAT, and BPU initiatives across the Brakes Plus network.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to streamline the onboarding process for new hires.
- Foster communication with candidates from application through to hiring.
- Keep hiring managers informed of recruitment progress and address any issues that arise.
- Provide insights on market trends and inform management about current recruitment challenges.
- Pursue job-specific training and networking opportunities to enhance recruitment success.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes Plus.
