YOUR MISSION:
In the role of Corporate Security Engineer (f/m/d), you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust security frameworks that safeguard Parloa’s internal systems, workforce, and SaaS environment.
This hands-on position is pivotal in enhancing the maturity of our corporate security operations within a fast-paced scaling context. Collaborating closely with the Director of Security, IS&T, and engineering teams, you will elevate detection and response capabilities, enforce security protocols, and ensure that our security operations meet the rigorous standards of enterprise clients and audits.
This role is perfect for engineers who are passionate about enhancing security measures in dynamic growth settings, as it encompasses security operations, endpoint security, SaaS security, and incident response.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Enhance Corporate Security Operations: Mature our corporate detection and response capabilities by investigating alerts, extending detection coverage, and refining incident response processes across endpoints, SaaS platforms, and internal infrastructure.
- Bolster Endpoint and Workforce Security: Define and implement endpoint security baselines and compliance standards, collaborating with IT and identity teams to ensure device posture aligns with corporate security policies.
- Optimize Security Monitoring and Detection: Improve corporate security telemetry by fine-tuning alerts, enhancing signal-to-noise ratios, and broadening logging coverage across identity systems, productivity platforms, and key SaaS applications.
- Facilitate Secure SaaS Adoption: Work in partnership with engineering, IT, and application owners to define and enforce security guardrails for new SaaS tools, ensuring robust authentication models, access controls, and audit logging are established.
- Engage in Vendor and Application Security Reviews: Collaborate in corporate application security evaluations by assessing technical risks, setting security acceptance criteria, and validating key security configurations during onboarding.
- Lead Incident Response for Corporate Security Events: Take part in and spearhead investigations for corporate security incidents, coordinating response actions, documenting outcomes, and conducting post-incident reviews.
- Advance Operational Security Maturity: Create runbooks, establish escalation paths, and enhance our overall security posture.
