Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting project-specific Cost Control Procedures.
- Support the establishment of Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) aligned with company guidelines, WBS, and contract pricing models.
- Contribute to the preparation of initial project budgets based on the scope of work and tender pricing documents.
- Gather actual costs and expenditures, allocating them to the CBS.
- Calculate the Value of Work Executed (Value of Work Done VOWD).
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) for manpower and costs.
- Compile monthly forecasts for manhours and costs across project management, engineering, construction, materials, and other resources.
- Prepare cost estimates for variations and claims, considering both direct and indirect costs.
- Review subcontractor cost estimates related to claims and variations.
- Monitor actual project costs, analyze cost variances, and develop cost trends and projections using various cost performance metrics.
- Generate detailed cost reports.
- Maintain records of actual cost components (materials, equipment, labor, etc.) for project close-out reporting and to inform the tendering department.
- Collaborate with different project sections on cost allocation, accounting, and control matters.
- Engage in the preparation of the Project Close-Out Report and document lessons learned.
- Facilitate regular billing to clients, providing necessary documentation, and liaising with clients for certification and payment.
- Review subcontractor invoices along with supporting documents.
- Participate in periodic site meetings to discuss project cost reports, capturing any suggested changes or deviations and their impact on the overall budget.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
