Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project cost control operations, develop and implement cost control programs, and ensure adherence to standard procedures.
- Generate regular financial and cost reports for submission to project management, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Facilitate the customer payment application process by preparing timely and precise payment requests.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to payment collection.
- Assess cost implications resulting from change orders and accurately document them.
- Estimate costs associated with back charges to subcontractors and review vendor estimates for feasibility.
- Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive cost coding and project organization.
- Conduct basic cost control activities in line with established procedures.
- Validate and process subcontractor invoices and maintain a history of change orders for analysis.
- Research material pricing and subcontractor trends to inform budgeting.
- Utilize SAP for various operational tasks, including invoice processing and vendor registration.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for construction projects and ensure compliance with subcontractor payment certificates.
- Monitor project progress and work value to align with financial projections.
- Coordinate with EPC and installation teams to assess the impact of project activities on budget and forecast.
