Minimum Requirements:BA/BS in a relevant field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.At least three years of demonstrated success in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying, particularly on large-scale infrastructure projects.Strong familiarity with the NEC4 suite of contracts, especially the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).Experience in cost/commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organization collaborative teams.Experience working within a client organization, directly or through a colocation/secondment arrangement, is advantageous.Proven ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders, nurturing relationships to expand workload and portfolio.Preferred Qualifications:Accredited with MRICS (or equivalent) or actively pursuing accreditation.

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator specializing in Rail projects for our Panama City location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee comprehensive cost management from project inception through to completion.
  • Demonstrate exceptional professional competence in all interactions with clients and industry contacts, enhancing the company’s reputation.
  • Elevate performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and leveraging AECOM’s technical practice networks.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, proactively enhancing the company’s profile as a premium quality service provider in the construction sector.
  • Support the internal team and mentor junior staff on complex technical projects.
  • Identify and develop marketing opportunities, collaborating with Directors and the Business Development Department to pursue potential leads for new business growth.
