Job Overview:
The Court Support team collaborates with courts nationwide to ensure the timely processing of over 100,000 court filings each month. As a Court Support Specialist, you will engage in diverse responsibilities including contacting courts and adeptly navigating court dockets and websites to retrieve essential information. This role necessitates proactive communication with court personnel and team members across various channels such as phone, email, and live chat, aimed at securing documents from courts and facilitating their access to our system. Broader communications involve obtaining general updates and operational statuses from courts. This position is remote but candidates must be located in Iowa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact courts regarding individual orders and general status updates, addressing questions and resolving issues related to existing orders.
- Communicate professionally and accurately through remote voice calls and emails, fostering a positive service environment while interacting with court personnel, attorneys, and clients.
- Utilize our in-house application, Skye, for document processing, adding informative updates and conducting data entry tasks with precision.
- Manage a consistent flow of incoming and outgoing phone calls to assist courts and customers, addressing inquiries and managing communications from both parties.
- Relay timely and relevant updates from courts to our process servers and customers as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to identify root causes and streamline processes that occur during document exchanges with the courts.
- Navigate and interpret court dockets to comprehend case documents and statuses, downloading documents directly and importing them into our internal application as required.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
