Our client in Washington, DC, is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Creative Director. This role requires a professional with a diverse skill set to guide and mentor our multidisciplinary, bicultural, and bilingual team. We seek a visionary strategist and designer—both verbal and visual—who embodies Hispanic/Latinx experiences and cultural insights. This individual should excel at blending brand objectives with audience engagement to further our mission of fostering positive social change and enhancing the quality of life for Hispanic/Latinx communities in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead and oversee content strategy in Spanish for projects of varying scales, integrating strategy, digital design, compelling content, and technology.
• Create innovative work that conveys complex concepts through engaging print materials, videos, and digital experiences tailored to Hispanic/Latinx audiences across all demographics.
• Conduct thorough analyses of brand performance, market trends, and the needs of Hispanic/Latinx consumers, particularly focusing on vulnerable and underserved populations regarding health, education, financial literacy, housing, environmental issues, civic engagement, and immigration.
• Collaborate with marketing, affiliates, and sales teams to formulate and assess marketing plans while identifying opportunities for growth.
• Regularly produce outputs such as brand logos, campaign names and slogans, scripts, storyboards, and visual elements for multimedia campaigns, including radio and digital platforms (display, video, websites, social media), with occasional TV and out-of-home components.
• Transform marketing and branding strategies into effective campaigns that resonate with target audiences, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints for a seamless multimedia experience, while keeping our creativity at the forefront of the industry.
• Guide the internal team through the creative process from inception to execution, providing leadership and mentorship.
• Develop and nurture a small team of exceptional producers, engineers, writers, and media relations specialists, both in-house and freelance.
• Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in managing various creative projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Create top-tier visual brands, engage in hands-on design work, and manage external resources as needed.
• Collaborate across all company divisions: production, digital and social media, media and affiliate relations, client services, and business development.
• Design and implement strategies and resources necessary to meet specified qualitative and quantitative benchmarks and goals.
