Role Overview:
We seek a multifaceted Photo & Video Editor who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced creative environment. You will handle real weekly briefs (social media ads, UGC-style edits, branded content) with quick turnaround times, allowing us to evaluate both fit and quality swiftly. The ideal candidate merges technical expertise with creative vision and can readily adapt to feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit photos (including retouching, compositing, and color grading) and videos (cuts, motion graphics, pacing) specifically for social media platforms such as Reels, TikTok, and Instagram ads.
- Produce 3-5 test edits within your first two weeks (paid) to showcase your style and efficiency.
- Work from provided scripts, raw footage, or creative guidelines—ideation is not required, just execution.
- Optimize content according to platform specifications (9:16, 1:1, captions, etc.) and current trends.
- Rapidly iterate on edits based on feedback to enhance and refine your work.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom (or similar tools like DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics (such as text animations, simple effects) is advantageous.
- Ability to align with brand aesthetics (clean, bold, trendy—whatever is necessary).
Creative Insights Required:
- A strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and attention-grabbing edits.
- Comprehension of
