Be a part of an innovative healthcare initiative at Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital, where we are expanding our services to better serve our community. This expansion will significantly enhance our facilities, increasing our inpatient capacity and modernizing our Emergency Department with state-of-the-art imaging technology. We are seeking dedicated CT Technologists to operate advanced Siemens Force scanners and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. Current Opportunities Include:
- Full-time evening positions available (Typically Monday to Friday with no weekend rotation required).
- Part-time weekend positions available on evening and night shifts (2 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday).
- Casual/as-needed positions.
- On-call and holiday rotation required for all roles.
Select positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $8,000 for qualified candidates!

The CT Technologist embodies the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Positioning and immobilizing patients on the examination table.
- Administering contrast media orally and/or via IV according to department protocols and physician orders.
- Entering technical data into the computer, including scan type, slice thickness, and scan time.
- Communicating with patients before and during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Reviewing images to ensure quality and producing radiographs.
- Conducting quality assurance on CT equipment and maintaining logs.
- Performing clerical tasks such as order reception, patient scheduling, and recordkeeping.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work area and equipment, and replenishing supplies as needed.
