As a Customer Account Manager at Assent, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer retention, driving renewals, and uncovering expansion opportunities. Your expertise in relationship building and understanding customer needs at all levels—including senior executives—will be essential for success in this dynamic position. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Retention & Renewals:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with assigned accounts to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proactively engage with customers to oversee renewals, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to minimize churn.
Expansion & Upselling:
- Pinpoint opportunities to enhance revenue by introducing additional programs and solutions that align with customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create persuasive proposals and secure upsell opportunities.
Customer Advocacy:
- Serve as a trusted advisor, thoroughly understanding customers’ business objectives and aligning our products and services to support them.
- Conduct regular check-ins, reviews, and health assessments to ensure sustained success.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to guarantee seamless delivery of value to customers.
- Provide insights to internal teams regarding customer needs and trends to inform product strategy and development.
Metrics & Reporting:
- Achieve or surpass targets for renewals, upselling, and net retention.
- Maintain precise records of customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM.
- Adhere to corporate security policies and comply with Assent's established procedures.
