As a Customer Logistics Planner at Bosch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of our core product segments (E-Zug) in our central warehouse located in Worms (IDC). Your responsibilities will encompass inventory planning, timely order calls, production order management, and deadline monitoring. Additionally, you will optimize planning parameters and work on replenishment time and minimum order quantity with trading goods suppliers and production plants. You will be measured on delivery service metrics, including SL1 for fine distribution and SSL3 for supplier delivery service, as well as inventory range management for relevant finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure product availability of assigned core product segments (E-Zug) in the central warehouse, targeting a delivery service level of 98% SL.
- Monitor product availability across global distribution warehouses, aiming for a 98% SL1.
- Maintain compliance with inventory targets for core product segments, initiating measures to address excess stock and slow-moving items, in collaboration with Stock Champions and LOPs.
- Adhere to documented processes within the PT-AC Management System.
- Process daily plans and evaluations effectively.
- Identify and address potential improvements in logistics processes, collaborating openly with suppliers and retailers.
- Analyze logistics key figures and implement corrective measures for sustainable improvements.
- Facilitate the implementation of direct delivery concepts where feasible.
- Resolve delivery bottlenecks sustainably through error analysis with suppliers and relevant procurement logistics colleagues.
- Ensure timely deliveries and systematically track all missing parts and backlogs.
- Engage in medium-term planning aligned with supplier requirements.
- Conduct joint problem-solving sessions with suppliers through regular meetings.
- Continuously improve supplier replenishment times and minimum order quantities.
- Expand safety stocks at suppliers, targeting all core suppliers.
- Assist in the creation of logistics-related contracts.
- Provide weekly updates on delivery situations during delivery meetings.
- Systematically manage backlog processing.
