Providing exceptional assistance to customers by answering inquiries and offering product recommendations.
Handling sales transactions efficiently while operating the designated cash register.
Ensuring the security of cash and safeguarding company assets.
Keeping the store well-stocked and organized, as well as recovering and displaying merchandise.
Receiving incoming products and assisting with unloading shipments, ensuring stock is replenished according to company standards.
Fostering a positive, safe, and respectful shopping environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and management.
Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, which includes restocking and cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, disposing of trash, and ensuring all areas are kept neat and presentable.
Performing other assigned duties as needed.*
Skills and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience in customer service within retail, hospitality, grocery, or similar environments is highly desired.
The ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is essential.
Capability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs., reach above shoulder height, and meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills are mandatory.
Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required.
