With a customer-centric approach and a keen attention to detail, you will engage with customers, assist in daily store operations, and ensure that every checkout experience is seamless and enjoyable. - Provide warm, confident, and engaging customer service that embodies Farm Boy’s dedication to delivering the finest shopping experience.
- Welcome, greet, and assist customers while efficiently processing transactions, including scanning items, packaging orders, and handling payments in accordance with Farm Boy Service Standards.
- Utilize your knowledge and enthusiasm for Farm Boy products to assist customers with inquiries and product details.
- Quickly learn and accurately apply product codes to ensure timely checkouts.
- Handle all cash and payment transactions responsibly, ensuring that tills are balanced and payment accuracy is maintained.
- Assist in store operations by answering and directing incoming phone calls as necessary.
- Support the safe handling and sale of alcohol when applicable (Smart Serve certification required or willingness to obtain).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including front-of-store areas and storage through general housekeeping duties, such as cart retrieval from parking.
- Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, emphasizing Health & Safety, Food Safety, and correct equipment usage.
- Contribute to team efforts by taking on additional tasks as needed.
