Pay Range: $16.50 - $20.10
Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Cashier at Floor & Decor, you will be the first and last point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, processing transactions, managing product returns, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience. Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome each customer with a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Engage with customers, inquire about their projects, suggest relevant products, and enhance their purchasing experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Adhere to the company’s safety protocols.
- Exemplify the core values of the company in all interactions.
- Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for customer transactions.
- Process refunds and exchanges according to established procedures.
- Open and close cash registers at the start and end of shifts.
- Follow the company's guidelines for cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Answer telephone inquiries following company protocols.
- Assist in stocking, tagging, and displaying merchandise as needed.
- Create price tags and signage for merchandise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic math skills are required
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Willingness to travel to other locations for support as needed.
Work Environment:
- Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level is generally quiet to moderate.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium Work – Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling or feeling is required. The role may also involve standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending.
