Rentokil Initial is on the lookout for an exceptional individual to become a part of our team as a Customer Service Consultant. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Port Melbourne office.
As you report to the Customer Service Manager, you will serve as a vital link for our esteemed business customer portfolio. This phone-based role is crucial for enhancing client relationships, driving customer retention, and actively fostering growth through targeted inbound and outbound engagement.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and forecasting retention metrics.
- Addressing issues in line with complaint resolution protocols and procedures for customers at risk.
- Establishing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Managing customer escalations effectively.
- Prioritizing and administering all customer tasks to meet deadlines.
- Keeping detailed records of all retention activities.
- Identifying and communicating new business opportunities to internal teams.
- Proactively assisting the Customer Service, Sales, and Operations teams to meet targets and objectives.
- Responding to customer inquiries with timely resolutions.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Customer Service roles.
- Strong negotiation skills to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Proven experience in B2B sales development.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Intermediate computer and system proficiency.
- The ability to remain composed under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative spirit to support team members.
- A professional, reliable, and punctual demeanor.
- A track record of meeting deadlines and KPIs consistently.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in-office, Monday to Friday.
