This position is open to permanent civil service employees, those eligible for the 55a program, and candidates reachable on the civil service list. Additionally, this role may allow for remote work up to 2 days per week under our Remote Work Pilot Program.

As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing payments and performing basic mathematical computations.
- Executing clerical tasks under supervision, including data processing, maintaining records, and assisting applicants with their licensing needs.
- Ensuring accuracy in records and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Delivering high-quality customer service to applicants in person and over the phone.
- Facilitating outreach to other city agencies for applicants.
- Managing correspondence through phone calls, emails, and written communication.
- Participating in seminars, meetings, and training sessions as required.
- Assisting with additional licensing-related tasks as assigned.
