We are in search of an innovative AI Conversation Designer—a dynamic, inquisitive, and people-focused individual—to join our international Conversation Design team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about merging language, user experience design, and technology to tackle real communication challenges.

As a Conversation Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of Virtual Agents while collaborating directly with clients to execute comprehensive projects. Your expertise will help clients and partners comprehend the potential of conversational AI, pinpoint valuable applications, design Virtual Agents, implement solutions using Vonage AI Studio, and support projects throughout their duration.
This position fuses creative copywriting, conversational user experience, and technical problem-solving. Your contributions will influence millions of customer interactions daily, and you’ll have the chance to thrive in a rapidly evolving field at the crossroads of design, language, and AI.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop consumer-centric Virtual Agents utilizing Vonage AI’s no-code Studio.
- Tackle customer communication challenges through voice and text-based conversational interfaces.
- Collaborate with product, solutions, and customer applications teams to ensure conversations are both intelligent and intuitive.
- Craft and enhance conversation scripts that embody each customer’s brand voice and tone.
- Lead copywriting efforts for new dialogues, adapt existing content (FAQs, SOPs), and contribute to managing the content library.
- Create prototypes, mockups, conversation flows, and other design artifacts to clearly articulate ideas.
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to evaluate use cases, contexts, and user intents.
- Handle multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently, maintaining a critical focus on design quality and user experience.
