Your Role
We are in search of a dedicated Threat Analyst to join and fortify the Novibet Cybersecurity Team. In this essential role, you will be at the forefront of our security operations—detecting threats, investigating incidents, and ensuring we stay one step ahead of potential attackers.
You will analyze alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and transform security data into meaningful insights. In addition to responding to incidents, your proactive approach will enhance our detection capabilities, engage in threat hunting, and utilize threat intelligence to pinpoint emerging risks and adversary behaviors that could impact our environment.
- Investigate and triage security alerts generated by our SIEM and cybersecurity platforms.
- Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents across EDR, SIEM, cloud, and network environments.
- Validate alerts to ascertain whether they indicate malicious activity and assess the severity of incidents.
- Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Engage in proactive threat hunting using hypotheses, telemetry analysis, and intelligence sources.
- Enhance detection capabilities through alert tuning, detection engineering, and SOC playbooks.
- Collaborate with IT, Cloud, DevOps, and Engineering teams to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
- Contribute to SOC metrics, reporting, and post-incident reviews.
