Smartsheet is in search of a driven and results-oriented Account Executive, Expansion to spearhead substantial revenue growth within the Denmark territory, specifically targeting accounts in the Commercial segment (500-5,000 employees). In this role, you will focus on strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships within the portfolio of Denmark-based Commercial accounts. You will be tasked with developing and executing strategic account plans, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and ensuring that Smartsheet’s presence grows in Denmark. This position demands a robust understanding of local market dynamics, the ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, and a proven history of exceeding sales targets with clients based in Denmark.
This role will report to the Regional Director for Nordics & Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive significant expansion revenue within the Denmark Commercial territory by building a strong sales pipeline, surpassing quotas, and managing sales cycles utilizing ValueSelling and MEDDICC methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive strategic account plans, nurturing strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners, and enhancing Smartsheet's brand awareness among business users, middle management, and executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance and secure transactional and strategic opportunities.
- Accurately forecast and track sales opportunities using tools like Salesforce and Clari.
- Utilize platforms such as Outreach, Tableau, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn for proactive engagement with your accounts and to initiate sales processes that build pipeline.
- Engage proactively by visiting customers in person and supporting local marketing events in the region.
- Conduct high-quality discovery sessions, aligning with customers on their business drivers and strategic objectives to develop a mutual evaluation plan with defined timelines and a sense of urgency.
