Join the DashMart team, a local fulfillment center proudly owned and operated by DoorDash, dedicated to providing customers with swift, reliable, and top-notch delivery services. Customers can conveniently order groceries, retail items, and meals via the DoorDash app, and our team members are essential in fulfilling these orders from our physical stores for Dashers to deliver. We operate early mornings to late evenings, with some locations even open 24/7!
About the Role
We are searching for an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic, physical work environment and is eager to actively participate in daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management: Efficiently receive and stock inventory, ensuring accurate product counts and safeguarding against loss. Monitor quality and freshness, adhering to all HACCP and food handling standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Utilize technology to scan, pick, and prepare orders for Dashers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Customer Engagement: Provide clear and friendly communication with customers through the app for substitution approvals when necessary.
- Safety & Organization: Uphold a safe working environment by adhering to DashMart's safety protocols and completing assigned cleaning and organization tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive workplace culture by embodying DoorDash's values of teamwork. Share ideas and challenges while ensuring respectful interactions with colleagues and customers.
- Runner/Dasher Coordination: Assist and guide Dashers as necessary.
