In your role as a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a pivotal role in promoting data and our methodologies to functional analysts and stakeholders throughout the company.
You will engage closely with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product, thriving in a dynamic, professional, and international environment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Accessing and manipulating large datasets to support planned analyses utilizing SQL, Python, and similar tools.
- Designing and developing BI dashboards using Sisense or similar platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio) to visualize organizational metrics and indicators based on best practices in finance, sales, inventory, and more.
- Assisting in defining KPIs and driving data governance through standardization and communication.
- Enhancing analysis and reporting capabilities; monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
- Demonstrating proficiency in query writing, report generation, and presenting findings.
- Researching and validating entity data using appropriate internal and external data sources.
- Liaising and analyzing across projects within the Reference Data environment.
- Analyzing, specifying, testing, and implementing interfaces, workflow solutions, and reference data solutions, including regression testing systems prior to upgrades.
- Participating in the design, implementation, and interpretation of experiments for continuous refinement of ongoing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages for dataset analysis (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
