We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst with a focus on Retail Billing to join our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in utility billing and auditing. In this role, you will be tasked with onboarding new billing clients, managing utility consumption data entry and review, and conducting thorough audits of billing processes. You will also provide customer service support to address client inquiries regarding invoice consumption data.
As a Data Analyst - Retail Billing, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring overnight billing runs are executed accurately, with invoices reviewed and distributed, and any discrepancies identified and resolved per the Billing Operational Plan.
- Resolving customer inquiries quickly, delivering effective solutions that meet the needs of both retailers and customers while adhering to service level agreements.
- Following all Meter Data processes meticulously and addressing any data anomalies in compliance with retailer service definitions and market standards.
- Managing payment and market transfer processes efficiently and in line with the retailer’s operational standards.
- Overseeing Life Support and market compliance processes according to the latest compliance guidelines.
- Reviewing and processing network invoices according to approved procedures.
- Creating, reviewing, and updating process documentation and mapping to accurately reflect current workflows.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams, providing expert guidance on system improvements, conducting user acceptance testing, and managing tariff structures.
- Generating daily reports on billing metrics for client portfolios, ensuring precision and transparency.
- Implementing proactive data solutions to enhance billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
