We are excited to invite applications for several positions within our Professional Services team. Depending on your experience and expertise, this role may be categorized as Senior Solutions Consultant, Resident Solutions Architect, or Senior Resident Solutions Architect.
This position is often referred to as a Big Data Solutions Architect, Analytics Architect, Data Platform Architect, or Technical Consultant. The finalized title will be aligned with your experience, technical proficiency, and customer-facing role.
As a Big Data Solutions Architect (Internal Title - Resident Solutions Architect) within our Professional Services team, you will engage with clients on short to medium-term projects to tackle their big data challenges utilizing the Databricks platform. Your role will encompass data engineering, data science, and cloud technology initiatives requiring integration with client systems, training, and various technical engagements to maximize the value derived from their data. RSAs are billable professionals who excel at delivering projects as per specifications while ensuring outstanding customer service. You will report to the regional Manager/Lead.
The impact you will have:
- Engage in a variety of impactful technical projects for customers, which may involve designing and constructing reference architectures, developing how-to guides, and turning customer use cases into production.
- Collaborate with engagement managers to outline a variety of professional services tasks with input from the customer.
- Assist strategic customers in executing transformational big data projects and third-party migrations, including comprehensive design, build, and deployment of leading-edge big data and AI applications.
- Consult on architecture and design; initiate or implement customer projects that lead to successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.
- Provide elevated support for customer operational issues.
- Collaborate with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure that the technical components of the engagement meet customer requirements.
- Work with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to deliver product and implementation feedback and facilitate swift resolutions for engagement-specific product and support matters.
