Role
As a Data Processing and Analysis Associate, you will play a vital role in the analysis, research, and processing of music metadata. Your work will involve converting raw data into structured, valuable information that supports our clients in fulfilling their royalty obligations to Networks, Producers, Performing Rights Organizations, and various Music Copyright entities.
Requirements
- Accurate entry and recording of music metadata from electronic sources into designated processing systems utilized for music royalty reporting.
- Verification of processed data to ensure adherence to company standards of accuracy.
- Identification and reconciliation of both routine and complex discrepancies in metadata inputs.
- Engagement in quality assurance initiatives aimed at identifying and resolving data-related challenges.
- Execution of various priority tasks associated with metadata processing.
- Provision of assistance and mentorship to fellow data processing team members as needed.
- Collaboration with management and team members to meet weekly or monthly deadlines.
- Effective communication with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support for additional company projects as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a relevant certificate or diploma qualification.
- Strong proofreading skills.
- Proficient in using shared Google Drives and email communication.
- Ability to work effectively in Google Sheets and Docs, with a solid understanding of internet research and computer fundamentals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
