We are seeking a Data Strategy Lead – Financial Crime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the data strategy for Financial Crime within the TSB migration context, covering Transaction Screening (TS), Transaction Monitoring (TM), Name Screening (NS), KYC/PKYC/CRA, and regulatory data associated with alerts, cases, SARs, and blocks.
• Establish principles, criteria, decision models, and data governance guidelines aligned with PDP and Sparrow standards.
• Design, govern, and oversee a comprehensive data migration approach: end-to-end mapping, transformations, enrichment, distribution, and certification in Santander FinCrime data stores.
• Ensure the continuity and integrity of Financial Crime controls throughout all stages of migration, coexistence, and cutover.
• Define the strategy for the migration of historical data necessary for investigations, TM model training, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Solution Architecture to ensure alignment with target platforms, data patterns, and enterprise integration standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between FinCrime teams, Engineering, Payments, Operations, and business areas, translating regulatory and control expectations into clear data requirements.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and audits within the program, ensuring traceability, lineage, and auditability across all data flows.
• Support testing activities, generate evidence for audits, and participate in regulatory interactions.
