Role Overview
We seek a Deal Manager to become a key member of our World Wide GTM Operations team. This hybrid role is based in Sydney (3+ days per week in-office) and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk.
The primary objective of the Deal Manager is to empower Account Executives (AEs) to seize sales opportunities with efficacy by possessing an in-depth understanding of the ANZ market and specialized expertise in navigating complex deal structures, thereby enhancing the sales teams' capabilities on pricing, company policies, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and advise the sales team and senior leaders on deal strategies and structuring, particularly for intricate deals, and propose alternative commercial solutions in a SaaS context to secure successful outcomes.
- Serve as an authority on SFDC CPQ quote and contract processes, steering pricing strategies and advising on commercial terms to protect Zscaler’s interests.
- Manage day-to-day deal and pricing approvals for the designated region, ensuring adherence to business regulations and policies while escalating exceptions as necessary.
- Foster strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with stakeholder functions, including Sales, Product Management, and others.
