About the job
FLINT Corp. is enhancing its Demolition, Decommissioning, and Abandonment (DDA) services across Saskatchewan and Alberta. We are in search of a seasoned technical and operational leader who can spearhead market growth, foster and mentor a high-performing DDA team, and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of complex demolition, dismantlement, and decommissioning projects.
As the DDA Business Development and Project Manager, you will cultivate client relationships, support business expansion, and pinpoint new opportunities within the industrial, energy, and municipal markets. As projects transition from opportunities to active engagements, you will take the lead in execution—overseeing project scope, safety, budget, and schedule, while coordinating field operations, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role is perfect for a dedicated demolition and decommissioning professional looking to elevate their career by leading teams, executing multifaceted projects, and helping FLINT establish itself as a leader in DDA services throughout Saskatchewan.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive Business Development: Identify and pursue new DDA opportunities in Alberta and Saskatchewan's industrial and energy sectors, while representing FLINT at industry events and stakeholder meetings.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact while liaising with regulatory bodies, municipalities, and permitting authorities.
- Project Leadership & Execution: Oversee demolition, decommissioning, and abandonment projects from planning through to closeout, including site assessments, dismantling plans, hazardous materials handling, and waste management strategies.
- Operational & Commercial Support: Develop proposals, bid packages, work plans, and execution strategies; manage subcontractor tendering, resource planning, budgets, and schedules in line with Saskatchewan safety and environmental regulations.
- Team Development & Safety Culture: Collaborate with internal teams for risk management and project planning, mentor junior staff, and promote a culture of safety, performance, and collaboration.
Why Join Us?
