What You Will Do
As a pivotal member of the Merchandising team, your mission will be to align customer demand with optimal product availability through strategic planning and execution. H&M is expanding its operations with franchise partners across various regions, making this a dynamic and evolving sector of our business.
In this 12-month contract role, you will be instrumental in fine-tuning the equilibrium between customer demand and inventory supply for a new franchise partner. Your responsibilities will include ensuring product availability, reducing excess inventory, and enhancing the overall success of both the organization and its partners. You will facilitate effective franchise market demand fulfillment, fostering sales growth, and collaborating cross-functionally, particularly with the franchise merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the integration of partner plans into market-level planning and buying percentages.
Monitor and enhance buying plans in collaboration with franchise merchandisers.
Track the accuracy of selling and stock plans.
Conduct analyses to uncover planning opportunities alongside franchise merchandisers.
Forecast cost reductions with franchise partners and ensure actionable steps are taken.
Review selling and stock forecasts to proactively identify necessary actions.
Continuously explore and implement improvements in buying and stock management within franchise markets.
Implement new initiatives in franchise markets in partnership with the global support team.
