About the job
Join Our Mission at LangChain
At LangChain, we are dedicated to making intelligent agents an integral part of everyday technology. Our goal is to lay the groundwork for agent engineering in practical applications, empowering developers to transform their innovative ideas into production-ready AI agents that teams can trust.
Initially recognized for our widely-used open-source tools, we have expanded our offerings to include a comprehensive platform designed for the creation, assessment, deployment, and management of AI agents at scale.
Today, our products—LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and Agent Builder—are trusted by teams delivering real AI solutions across startups and major corporations. Companies such as Replit, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, and 35% of the Fortune 500 rely on LangChain to empower their AI initiatives.
With a robust $125M Series B funding round led by IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we are in a dynamic phase of growth. Our team is continuously innovating, and each member's contributions have a significant impact on our technology and collaborative culture.
About the Team
The Deployed Engineering team is at the forefront of collaborating with organizations to build and operate AI agents in live environments, facilitating the transition from conceptualization to reliable operational systems.
This dynamic team is highly technical and engages closely with customer engineers throughout the entire lifecycle—from pre-sales assessments to post-deployment support. Our objective is to achieve technical excellence, collaboratively design agent architectures, and assist customers in operating agents smoothly at scale with the LangChain toolkit.
As a Deployed Engineer, you will be positioned at the intersection of engineering, product development, and market engagement, influencing the adoption of LangChain in practical applications and providing valuable feedback to enhance our platform.
Your Role
As a Deployed Engineer, you will tackle some of the most challenging problems in applied AI. You will engage in building systems that real teams depend on in production, rather than just demos or research projects. The feedback loop is swift, your impact is tangible, and your work will directly influence the development of AI agents in real-world settings.
