As a Design Resident, you will collaborate with the Design Director and Design Producer to conceptualize and create exceptional design work across various media, upholding the high standards of quality that Wieden+Kennedy is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Design Director to translate the creative team's visual concepts into reality through adept design and typography skills, including type layout and kerning.
- Employ diverse techniques such as image searches, digital photography, image manipulation, and sketching to create mood boards, comps, and final artwork for client projects and pitches.
- Design and execute across multiple media formats, including presentations, print, outdoor advertising, logos, and social media graphics.
- Learn to produce detailed mechanicals for print and other collateral that meet W+K's quality standards.
- Prepare final digital files and proofs for printers and publications.
- Organize and archive design files on the studio server in accordance with studio guidelines.
- Output final reprints on Epson proofers based on account requirements.
