Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing and implementing Desktop Operating System (OS) images.
- Engineer solutions for large-scale software deployment using technologies such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
- Develop, test, and implement software distribution packages, including software updates for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers in the enterprise environment.
- Provide insights and recommendations to fulfill various user software requirements.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in scripting languages, including PowerShell and VBScript.
- Implement server OS deployment methodologies, including automated server build processes.
- Support OS patching infrastructures like HCL BigFix or Windows Update/MECM, ensuring mandatory security updates are applied to enterprise systems.
- Analyze, evaluate, and recommend desktop, laptop, tablet, and server hardware solutions.
- Conduct security-related tasks, including documentation, vulnerability scan reviews, assessment support, patch management, and auditing as required.
