Join us as a Digital Photography Intern for Luxe Media, where you will play a pivotal role in an exciting photo shoot project showcasing the strength and sophistication of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.) fields. Our goal is to inspire a positive perception of educated, working women in these industries.
As the Digital Photography Intern, you will have diverse responsibilities throughout the semester. You will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of lighting, which will enhance the visual experience for our audience at Felixmag.co. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with studio teams and stylists to capture stunning digital product stills for Felix Magazine.
- Ensuring all products are lit creatively and efficiently, adhering to Luxe Media’s quality standards.
- Producing high-quality, visually appealing images, maintaining correct exposure and color consistency.
- Accurately archiving images for easy access by other departments within Luxe Media.
- Preparing sets, checking equipment functionality, setting up proper lighting, and maintaining daily shoot records.
- Meeting deadlines for new web content and maintaining a flexible, team-oriented approach under pressure.
- Caring for and maintaining studio equipment, props, and supplies.
- When necessary, retouching, cropping, and uploading digital images.
- Structuring and naming digital asset files for organization.
- Performing quality assurance checks on all images.
- Ensuring color consistency across images.
- Taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
