Position Summary: As a Direct Support Professional, you will deliver compassionate care, supervision, and supportive living services to individuals in our group homes. You will embody the principles of a person-centered approach and will be scheduled for various shifts including days, evenings, and overnight positions. Flexibility for on-call support is essential to ensure consistent coverage.
Work Schedule: Enjoy the flexibility of working between 8 to 40 hours a week! Availability is required for at least every other weekend, including holidays. Shifts may vary by location and may include times such as 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or overnight from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Compensation: Earn $16.50 per hour for part-time roles and $17.00 per hour for full-time positions. Additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for evening and overnight shifts.
This role also includes a $1,000 retention bonus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized, compassionate care to promote the well-being of individuals.
- Assist with personal care tasks.
- Participate in community activities such as bowling, shopping, and exercising.
- Perform daily care activities including bathing, toileting, feeding, and dressing.
- Handle household responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license and a clear driving record are required.
- Pass a background study conducted by the MN Department of Human Services.
- Access to a working phone.
- Exhibit maturity and professionalism in interactions with individuals served and colleagues.
