We are seeking a passionate Account Director who is enthusiastic about startups and digital-native companies driving the next wave of SaaS, FinTech, and AI advancements.
As an Account Director at DigitalOcean, you will be part of a vibrant team focused on transforming cloud computing and AI landscapes. Your role will involve engaging deeply within the technology and startup communities. Your primary objective will be to accelerate our growth by partnering with promising SaaS, FinTech, and AI startups, ranging from stealth founders to rapidly growing teams. You will represent DigitalOcean in your local community, establishing relationships with builders and technical leaders to secure their business. Your success will stem from being a true advocate for your customers, collaborating across teams to ensure that the leading innovators in your region have access to the straightforward, powerful cloud solutions they require to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the tech ecosystem to identify, connect with, and win over promising startups.
- Manage relationships with high-potential accounts, serving as their primary contact for business and technical requirements.
- Internally advocate for your customers, collaborating with support and engineering teams to eliminate technical barriers and foster their success.
- Drive growth within accounts by maintaining regular contact and identifying new opportunities.
- Oversee and negotiate contract renewals, effectively communicating the value of new features to promote expansion and upsell prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Convert customer feedback from your clients and prospects into actionable insights for our Product and Engineering teams to refine the roadmap.
