Role Summary
As the Director of Acquisition Sales (Financial Services) at Consumer Edge, you will spearhead and expand our new-logo growth engine within the Financial Services sector. You will be responsible for the entire acquisition process, leading a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to engage with prospects across a wide range of Financial Services firms, including global hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and more.
This position primarily focuses on driving sales while also serving as a cross-functional leadership role. Beyond generating pipeline and bookings, you will enhance sales execution through methodology, forecasting, and coaching, working closely with the CRO, CMO, and CPO to refine pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies, effectively broadening Consumer Edge's presence in the Financial Services sector through strategic partnerships and innovative distribution channels.
Your Main Responsibilities
Lead and Scale Acquisition Revenue
- Oversee the new business pipeline and bookings within the Financial Services division, consistently achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Develop a repeatable, scalable acquisition engine to enhance market share across key segments and use cases.
- Convert high-level growth objectives into actionable plans, coverage models, and execution rhythms for your team.
Manage, Coach, and Develop High-Performing Team
- Lead a team of BDMs and SDRs, establishing clear expectations, goals, and accountability.
- Provide coaching in prospecting, discovery, value-based selling, deal strategy, and closing discipline.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor talent as the team expands, fostering a performance culture rooted in preparation, learning, and results.
