About the Director of B2B Product Marketing at Headspace:
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and innovative Director of B2B Product Marketing to elevate Headspace’s status as the premier Mental Health Companion for employers, health plans, and benefits consultants. This role serves as a key individual contributor with extensive visibility and influence across Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Clinical teams.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for the positioning, packaging, and market introduction of our B2B products—transforming intricate mental healthcare solutions into clear and engaging narratives that appeal to buyers, decision-makers, and trusted advisors within the benefits ecosystem. You will play an essential role in developing go-to-market strategies, steering product direction through market insights, and ensuring Headspace maintains a unique and category-defining narrative in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee B2B product positioning, messaging, and packaging for Headspace’s Mental Health Companion offerings, ensuring distinctiveness for employers, health plans, and benefits consultants.
- Craft compelling narratives centered around buyers and influencers that articulate Headspace’s comprehensive mental healthcare model into persuasive value propositions.
- Produce impactful external materials (sales presentations, consultant resources, narratives, launch messaging, thought leadership) and internal support tools that facilitate all phases of the sales cycle in collaboration with Commercial teams.
- Lead commercialization and go-to-market strategies for new and existing B2B products and features, from initial narrative creation through full-funnel activation.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Product, shaping the roadmap through an in-depth understanding of customer needs, benefits consultant influence, market dynamics, and competitive analysis.
- Aggregate insights from the field—including feedback from customers, sales, partners, and benefits consultants—to inform positioning, prioritization, and business strategy.
- Serve as a liaison among teams, aligning Product, Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, Member Support, and Communications around a unified go-to-market narrative.
- Champion the Mental Health Companion category, helping Headspace define and lead this domain through strong perspectives, consistent messaging, and distinctive storytelling.
