Position Overview:
The Director of Bilingual Programming at Mastery Schools in Camden will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our Dual Language Education program. This position entails integrating language access thoughtfully across all subjects, including literacy, reading intervention, mathematics, social studies, and science. This strategy not only honors the home languages and cultural identities of our students but also aids them in navigating between languages. Responsibilities include providing strategic support to school leaders and educators through focused professional development and coaching. The role collaborates closely with both the Senior Director of Multilingual Programming and the Deputy Chief Academic Officer for NJ Programming.
At Mastery, we are deeply committed to enhancing academic success while valuing the distinct backgrounds of our students. This role is essential in cultivating a bilingual educational environment that appreciates language diversity, promotes student engagement, and supports educational achievements.
