The Drug Product Pilot Plants (DPPP) in Ludwigshafen are responsible for the manufacturing of oral and parenteral clinical trial products within R&D. The Bulk Supply Chain Planning team is tasked with the reliable, efficient, and agile planning of all batches produced in DPPP, coordinating necessary activities across adjacent units. As the Director of Bulk Supply Chain Planning, you will lead the team, continuously refining its strategic direction and serving as a key expert and point of contact for various interfaces within and outside the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a project management team to plan and control the global supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of all produced trial products.
- Acting as the primary contact for internal and external interfaces within the Bulk Supply Chain Planning group; representing the team in global CMC meetings.
- Managing complex projects within the DPPP while considering project requirements and resources, identifying and resolving conflicts among various projects.
- Planning and facilitating global project team meetings involving all relevant units.
- Independently defining and scheduling activities, complex processes, responsibilities, and timelines necessary for creating project plans for trial product manufacturing.
- Optimizing and enhancing processes, planning tools, and documents with a focus on efficiency and service.
