THE ROLE
As we accelerate the adoption of AI across enterprises, we are looking for a results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our go-to-market strategies for our AI product line. This pivotal role connects sales teams, channel partners, systems engineering, and strategic alliances, ensuring that Pure’s AI offerings deliver exceptional value and success to our customers.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust history of direct sales, channel sales, and management, with extensive experience in selling enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions to Fortune 2000 clients. You should have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, experience in both software/SaaS and data infrastructure sales, and entrepreneurial insights from working in early-stage startups.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Sales Support & Enablement
- Collaborate closely with field sales account executives, solution architects, and systems engineers to establish yourself as the trusted AI advisor in customer interactions.
- Utilize your domain expertise to effectively position Pure’s AI solutions during complex enterprise sales processes, becoming the go-to partner for sales and deal support in AI.
- Create playbooks, use cases, and reference architectures to aid sales teams in articulating the unique value proposition of Pure's AI offerings.
Channel & Partner Development
- Forge and enhance strategic partnerships with key channel partners, global system integrators (SIs), and technology alliances.
- Collaborate on joint go-to-market initiatives with partners to broaden Pure’s AI presence in the enterprise sector.
- Equip partners with necessary training, resources, and collaborative selling approaches to expedite pipeline development and deal closure.
