Your Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Director of Business Development (Healthcare & GPO Partnerships) to propel our rapid growth at Metropolis. In this vital role, you will spearhead new business initiatives within healthcare systems, hospital networks, and GPO-supported organizations, managing intricate deal cycles and negotiations. This is a unique chance to significantly influence Metropolis’s healthcare footprint, utilizing AI and computer vision to modernize parking and related operational experiences. Your expertise in relationship management and deep understanding of hospital procurement processes will be crucial in driving our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process for healthcare systems and hospital networks, from initial outreach to final negotiations and closing.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through GPO channels, healthcare networks, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Employ a consultative approach to identify client challenges and craft tailored, solutions-oriented proposals.
- Lead client presentations and discovery sessions, delivering proposals designed for hospital administrators, facilities leaders, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital executives, facilities leadership, procurement teams, and GPO partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams on financial modeling and underwriting specific to healthcare deals.
- Work closely with teams in marketing, operations, and legal to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Track and manage pipeline growth and sales metrics using CRM tools to drive ongoing improvement.
- Stay informed about trends in the healthcare industry, GPO frameworks, and emerging technologies to shape business development strategies.
