About the Role:
As the Director of Design and Engineering at SF Compute, you will play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of large-scale GPU clusters. You'll be responsible for the design and validation of electrical, mechanical, and architectural elements for facilities ranging from 1MW to 1GW+. This role encompasses site validation, conceptual design, material scoping, and collaboration with external partners in architecture, engineering, and construction.
You will work closely with our internal teams in construction, procurement, and hardware to ensure seamless project delivery from inception to completion. This position is based in our headquarters in San Francisco with some travel required. A portfolio showcasing your previous data center projects is mandatory for applicants.
