Your Role:
The Head of EMEA Department Store Channel Strategy will architect and steer our strategic initiatives throughout the region, developing scalable models for commercial success, and ensuring top-notch execution across wholesale, concession, and third-party collaborations. This position will serve as the strategic bridge between Global Retail, Merchandising, Product, Strategy, and EMEA sub-regions/markets, while spearheading significant partnerships with department stores, the primary locations for our concessions.
Your Mission:
- Champion and propel the EMEA department store strategy in alignment with On’s premium and retail aspirations.
- Establish distinct channel roles, business models, and growth trajectories across the region.
- Lead the development of premium concessions and flagship Shop-in-Shops in key metropolitan areas.
- Define and implement optimal commercial models tailored to each partner, market, and category.
- Position department stores as a vital brand-building platform, emphasizing premium placements and appropriate brand adjacencies to amplify our message to consumers.
- Forge and nurture senior-level partnerships, including key concession partners.
- Function as the core integrator among global and regional teams, overseeing standards, execution, and KPIs.
Your Background:
- 8+ years of experience in premium/luxury apparel, sportswear, or lifestyle brands.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with luxury department stores across Europe and driving substantial growth in priority locations through a blend of strategic foresight and decisive immediate actions.
- Expertise in channel strategy, retail, brand management, sales, or merchandising.
- Experience with multi-model commercial frameworks such as concessions, wholesale, and third-party operators.
- Proven capability in leading cross-functional and cross-channel teams.
