Business Partnering & Strategic Leadership
- Establish and nurture key relationships with the General Manager, Executive Committee, and department heads to provide comprehensive financial support and strategic direction.
- Work alongside operational leaders to assess financial performance, identify discrepancies, and propose data-driven strategies to enhance business effectiveness.
- Play a vital role in critical business decisions related to revenue generation, cost management, and capital investments.
- Assist department heads in crafting and executing corrective action plans based on audit findings.
- Engage in revenue management meetings to pinpoint opportunities and risks across all revenue streams.
- Forge strong business relationships with stakeholders by actively participating in strategic discussions and responding proactively to initiatives.
Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial data and reports in an accessible format for all organizational levels.
- Lead the formulation and execution of annual budgets, capital budgets, and rolling forecasts in collaboration with the General Manager and department heads.
- Establish and uphold accurate financial reporting procedures, guaranteeing the timely delivery of monthly internal benchmarking and operational performance analysis reports.
- Monitor and evaluate balance sheet accounts, identifying significant variations and communicating findings to senior management.
- Identify and implement best practices and benchmarking techniques to boost revenues, enhance productivity, and optimize cost efficiencies.
- Oversee all aspects of the capital process, including fixed asset tracking, sub-ledger maintenance, and depreciation management.
- Ensure the precise and consistent recording of financial and statistical data across a unified chart of accounts and expense dictionary.
Compliance, Risk Management & Controls
- Uphold fiduciary responsibility to the organization and stakeholders by ensuring full compliance with policies, accounting standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Protect organizational assets and interests by serving as the guardian of financial integrity.
