As the Director of Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will spearhead the end-to-end planning, performance management, and financial advisory for all facets of Qantas Loyalty, ensuring a strong emphasis on commercial and strategic leadership. This position is crucial in establishing appropriate frameworks, rhythms, initiatives, and processes to achieve business unit objectives, requirements, and targets.
Your leadership will drive the development of opportunities within Loyalty, significantly impacting the formation and execution of strategies and their financial goals alongside the Loyalty Leadership Team, General Management Committee, and the Board. Key responsibilities include financial stewardship, risk management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, cash flow oversight, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will manage the optimization of operating costs, which is essential for sustaining the growth of Qantas Loyalty.
This role also involves leading a team of finance professionals and ensuring the fulfillment of key people management responsibilities aligned with the Qantas Loyalty Balanced Scorecard. You will maintain and manage divisional interactions with Group Finance, Investor Relations, External Auditors, and the Centre of Finance Excellence (CoFE), developing strong collaborative relationships with these teams. On occasion, this role will serve as the Deputy CFO, acting as the delegate for the Divisional CFO.
